This Privacy Policy explains how Nexus Emergency Systems collects, uses, and protects information when you use RedLineCAD. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
When you create an account, we collect your display name, email address, and a hashed password. This information is used solely to authenticate you and manage your account.
Data entered into the CAD — including calls, arrests, civilian profiles, vehicles, BOLOs, reports, and other roleplay records — is stored in Firebase Realtime Database and associated with your community. This data is accessible to members of your community with appropriate permissions.
If you use the RedLineCAD Discord bot, we collect your Discord User ID and server (guild) ID to associate bot commands with your account and community. We do not collect your Discord username, email, or any other personal information from Discord beyond what is necessary to operate the bot.
We collect basic device information (browser type, operating system) for debugging and performance purposes only. We do not use tracking cookies or sell advertising data.
Push-to-talk voice transmissions may be recorded and stored temporarily for playback purposes within your community. Recordings are not shared outside your community and are not monitored by Nexus Emergency Systems.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (United States). Firebase provides industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We implement Firebase security rules to ensure users can only access data within their authorized communities.
Local device caching (localStorage / IndexedDB) is used to enable offline functionality. This data is stored only on your device and is not accessible to Nexus Emergency Systems.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
The RedLineCAD Discord bot collects and processes the following data from Discord:
The bot does not read, store, or process general Discord messages. It only responds to explicit slash commands directed at it. Your use of the Discord bot is also subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
RedLineCAD includes AI-powered features powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use AI features such as the Interrogation Room, Medical Diagnosis, or City Chronicle, relevant roleplay data from your session may be sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Community CAD data is retained as long as the community exists on the platform.
If you delete your account, we will delete your personal account information within 30 days. Community data you contributed may remain in the community's records as it is owned by the community, not the individual user.

RedLineCAD is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us through our Discord support server.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Your continued use of the Service after changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
